I wrote two articles recently Are Kitchen Lake Are Creating living rooms into the future, which led me to wonder if the kitchen may now be the most important room of your home. I discussed this with decorators, kitchen designers, architects, realtors, editors and friends both in and out of the design business to listen to their thoughts.
Kitchen Lake were to cook. We all have memories in our mothers (in some instances the daddy or both mom and dad) slaving more than a stove, working tirelessly over countertops, preparing delicious, filling and nutritious meals the family enjoyed and savored together. Sometimes children were advised to maintain out of the kitchen mother's workspace %u2013 to ensure that mother could prep and cook. Typically children were motivated to join and discover the art of cooking, the industry of preparing a household or holiday meal together, thus creating true memories a person can have. Kitchens usually are not sedate and quiet rooms. They are rooms filled up with energy, aroma and texture. We were holding designed with a goal, one purpose planned. These were developed to be utilitarian spaces.
With much less importance being paid to separate living and dining areas in today's contemporary times, the importance seems to be almost solely dedicated to the kitchen space. Much attention is being paid to the room's layout, design and functionality. You can still find those that will argue and tell you just how their living and dining room areas matter greatly, even if they are only used a few times 12 months. Again, point about this is reflective on lifestyle.
